Spotted on Trendhunter:
What happens when you outsource your copywriting to a country where English isn’t the first language? You get classics like this from Gaviscon, an antacid treatment for digestive problems: “It’s like a fireman came in your mouth.”
Can it possibly be true? We guess we'll never know... well, would you own up???
There are lots of sites with examples of translation bloopers, but as this page of Marketing Translation Mistakes says, as funny as they are, take them with a pinch of salt as they may not all be true...
